Frequently asked questions
What is ducking?
The music is automatically lowered while speech plays. Turn it on with the speaker icon in the music track’s header and set the ducking depth in the Tracks panel.
How many tracks can I have?
As many as you like – voice, music, sound effects, recordings. Each track has volume, pan, mute and solo.
What format should I save a podcast in?
For podcasts, MP3 at 128–192 kbps or M4A. Normalize the volume to −16 LUFS, as podcast platforms expect.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Audio and recordings are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
