Frequently asked questions
How many files can I merge?
As many as you like – the only limit is the space in your browser’s storage. Hour-long recordings are no problem, even on a phone.
Do the files have to be in the same format?
No. You can merge MP3 with WAV, M4A from an iPhone and even audio from a video. Everything is converted to a common sample rate.
Can I add fades between the parts?
Yes. Open the merged file in the editor and add a fade at the start or end of a part, or insert silence.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Audio and recordings are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
