Frequently asked questions

Will the pitch of the voice change?

No. The WSOLA algorithm changes the length of the audio and keeps the pitch. There’s a separate effect for changing the pitch.

What speeds are available?

From 0.5× (twice as slow) to 2× (twice as fast). Changes up to 1.5× sound the most natural.

Can I speed up just one part?

Yes. Select a part on the timeline and the effect is applied only to it – the rest stays unchanged.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Audio and recordings are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
