Frequently asked questions

How far can I change the pitch?

Up to 12 semitones (an octave) up or down. Shifts of 1–3 semitones sound the most natural.

Will the length of the song change?

No. The pitch shifts, and the tempo and length stay the same.

Can I use it on a voice?

Yes, even to anonymize a voice. With a bigger shift, though, the voice sounds a bit artificial.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Audio and recordings are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
